Home to the largest population of one horned rhinoceros on Earth, ,Kaziranga National Park is one of India's national treasures in terms of flora and fauna. Located in the state of Assam in northeast India, its total area is shared by the Nagaon, Golaghat and Karbi Anglong districts and is placed in the center of the state. At a distance of about five hours from Guwahati, Kaziranga National Park is a symbol of successful wildlife conservation in India.
In 1985, it was granted World Heritage Site status by UNESCO.

Lying on the flood plains of the prosperous river Brahmaputra, the rich flora almost covers the entirety of Kaziranga National Park. Kaziranga National Park is officially listed as a tiger reserve and has one of the world's largest populations of tigers.

Travel can be done both during the day and night during the open tourist season. Elephant ride is very popular among tourists and wildlife journalists and enthusiasts. 2.Manas National Park 

The park is known for its rare and endangered endemic wildlife, such as the Assam roofed turtle, herpid hare, golden langur and peggy hog.         "Manas is famous for its wild water buffalo population."



Manas National Park is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, a Project Tiger Reserve, an Elephant Reserve and a Biosphere Reserve in Assam. The only tiger reserve in Assam and also famous for the rare golden langur and red panda, Manas is one of the best kept national parks in India.

Manas is known not only for its rich biodiversity but also for its spectacular scenery and natural landscape including forest hills, alluvial grasslands and tropical evergreen forests. It is home to the second largest tiger population in India. It is also famous for its wild water buffalo population. Manas is listed in the IUCN Red Book as the maximum number of endangered species from India.

The rhinos and tigers can be easily spotted sitting on the elephant. Forest officials arrange elephant rides for visitors from Matanguri. You can see the tea picker about their work in groups during the tea season. The best time to observe the activity is from the first week of October to December and then mid-March.


3. Debru Saikhoi National Park 

Debru Saikho National Park is a place that boasts a rich collection of flora and fauna, many of which are endangered. It is one of the few protected sites in the native bird region of the Assamese plain.

Debru Saikho National Park is a river island national park and one of the 19 biodiversity hotspots in the world. This national park is located 12 km north of Tinsukia in Assam. One of the seven areas of the park is wetland and the rest is mainly covered by grasslands and dense forests. 4.Nameri National Park
